Mountain

Another skiff of snow after we closed yesterday brings our total for new snow in the past 24 hours to 12cm. Our Snowmaking team have made the most of low overnight temperatures and added to the natural snow in many locations around the mountain. The snow surface has groomed up to an immaculate winter finish and will be soft and dry. Top and Mid-Towers are likely to re-open again today but keep your eyes peeled for rocks lurking just below the surface of the new snow. Two for one deal on today!

Weather

At 11:45am we have cloud rolling in and out, light snow flurries and 10-20km/h winds in the base area and 30-45km/h winds at the summit. Forecast is mixed bag of sunshine, cloud and snow flurries. Cold temps and gusty SW winds on the ridgeline so please dress for winter.

Access Road

Chains are required on 2WD vehicles from Canterbury View. Our chain hire and fitting service is operating - EFTPOS accepted. Please note we do not stock chains for low profile or large 4WD vehicles. Check the sign at the Info Booth for the latest chain requirement as this can change during the day. Adhere to the 40km/h speed limit. Please report any incidences of dangerous driving or excessive speed to our car parking team so we may follow up with the driver

Don't Forget...
