Road Chains on all vehicles
All vehicles to fit chains at 6km. The Chain Fitting team will be there to lend a hand and rent chains as well. Please drive with care maintaining 2-way access at all times. Take the free transport from the Queenstown Snow Centre with all valid day or multi-day Remarkables lift passes or combo packs purchased there. Conditions apply. See www.nzski.com for schedules.

It's snowing now and the forecast is for snow through the day! We have had 10 cms in the last 24 hours. Good skiing and riding on groomed trails with fresh snow on top. Off piste is variable with wind loaded pockets of fresh. *Wind may effect chair lift operations during the day* Please ski & ride with care, unmarked hazards exist.

Shadow Basin Quad Open Great skiing on groomed trails. Some excellent off piste terrain to test your abilities on and steeper slopes with obstacles to work around. Or you could just stick to the groomed intermediate trails down through the bowl.
Sugar Bowl Quad Open Casterway trail is all groomed, Water Race trail as well and heaps of fun.Then head into more challenging Fall Line, Cross Fall or Water Race trails before meeting back at the base of Sugar Bowl Chair.
Alta Chair Open Once off the chair at the top novice skiers and boarders have a 700m trail to work on your ability for improvement.
Base Lodge Conveyor Open Ride up to the base lodge and get your day started. You will be hard pressed to find a better spot to learn to ski and ride.
Shorty Conveyor Open The perfect place to start your on snow experience. For Novice skiers and snowboarders.
Pump House Conveyor Open Once you have mastered standing up and walking on skis this lift provides access to ideal learning to turn terrain.
Ozone Tubing Park Open We have added a forth lane and its awesome FUN sliding down lanes in your own tube. The ride back up makes it easy. Bookings essential through Guest Services call 442 4908 to book a time.

Parks and Pipes

The Stash Open The lower Stash is closed today due to re-shaping. Everything in the Stash down to, and including the 'Stash Hut' is shaped and ready to ride. Please ride with caution as you make your way back to the chairs.
Dirty Dog Terrain Park Open The 'BIG PARK' is looking sharp, we now have our big jump line in action which consists of 45ft & 35ft step down jump's. We also have one 20ft step down jump, a 'Hip/True Table', a Kickers/Bonk combo & 12 rail features including a 3 hit urban line. We have the Tararua Real Iced Coffee Slopestyle #2 happening today so some closeures are expected.

Tararua Iced Coffee Beginner Park Open We have switched up the TRIC beginner park, changing all the features from the top of Turquoise down the whole park run. We now have a total of 6 box & rail features, a small jump and a 'hip' jump. These features include a flat box, an angled plastic pipe, the butter box, a serpent box an up flat box and a down box. This is a great freestyle set up for beginner & intermediate skiers & boarders so get in there & start practising.

The Remarkables Café Open The "Rastus Burn Coffee Bar" is serving up great barista coffees, slices, through to pastries and home made pies
Snack Shack Open For light refreshments and snacks as you ski on by!
